Chapter 2 Much to Lizzy’s surprise, Charlie Bingley turned out to be a needle in a haystack. While his messages were flirtatious in nature, he messaged Jane with a respect and manners seldom seen on a dating app. It wasn’t long before Jane was attached. His Facebook profile afforded a better understanding of the young man, wonderfully handsome, extremely agreeable, and to crown the whole, once lockdown laws had abated, he meant to host a rather large party, to which he insisted Jane invite her whole family so he could meet them. After one FaceTime call, Jane and Charlie hatched a plan to attach one of his best friends to Lizzy, who also happened to be his housemate.
